Using the Galveston.com Logo Collection
Galveston.com & Company, Inc. owns the trademark for the 'Galveston.com & Company" logo collection. The collection is copyright and may only be republished when promoting Galveston Island tourism.
These logos were created to represent Galveston Island's Official Tourism Website, as well as the Corporation that owns and operates it. The logos are recognized by consumers domestically and internationally.
Given the role of the logos in building and maintaining the image of tourism in Galveston, it is important that they are used only for purposes that are specifically endorsed by Galveston.com & Company. Use of the logos in situations inconsistent with Galveston.com & Company's objectives for quality standards, or use of the incorrect logos for a particular market, will lead to a reduction in the value of the brand.
The Galveston.com Logo Collection must not be animated or altered in any way, except as otherwise agreed by Galveston.com & Company. The logos colors or fonts should not be changed. The logos must not be taken apart, changed in proportion, combined with any other words or graphics, or otherwise altered from the version provided by Galveston.com & Company.
Your usage must display the Galveston.com logos in a positive manner. The logos may not be used to display Galveston Island in a negative way or in any way that could reflect adversely on Galveston Island tourism..
There are various versions of the Galveston.com logos, the use of which is dependent upon the communication piece. Below is the collection of logos available.
Whenever used on websites, the logos must be hyperlinked back to Galveston.com.
Consumer Logo:
The consumer logo represents the Galveston.com Tourism Website, and is used when communicating directly to the consumer. Below is the collection of consumer logos available.
Minimum Size
- In printed materials, the logo should be no smaller than 35mm wide.
- The minimum size of the logo on web site pages should be 100 pixels wide and 76 pixels high.

Corporate Logo:
The corporate logo represents Galveston.com & Company as an organization and is used in all industry and corporate communications. This logo is also used where Galveston.com & Company is a sponsor of an event, seminar or corporate function. Below is the collection of logos available.
Minimum Size
- In printed materials, the logo should be no smaller than 35mm wide.
- The minimum size of the logo on web site pages should be 135 pixels wide and 70 pixels high.

Logo Collection Usage Terms & Conditions:
Correct usage of the Galveston.com Logo Collection is integral to developing and maintaining a consistent brand image and message. We ask that you read the following terms and conditions before use the Galveston.com Logo Collection.
Placement and Treatment
- The Galveston.com Logo Collection should only appear in the horizontal position.
- You may only use the version(s) of the logo(s) supplied or approved by Galveston.com & Company.
Color Specification
- Wherever possible, the logos should be presented in color.
- The logos are also available in mono for publications produced in less than four colors.
Combining the Logos with other Graphics
No logo in the Galveston.com Logo Collection should ever appear in combination with any other symbol or icon. The logo is never to appear inside a shape, such as an oval shape.
Proximity to other Elements
To properly stage the logo, a minimum clearance between the logo and other elements (such as text, logos, marks or any other items) must be maintained. Clear space of 5mm is required around the diameter of the logo.
Other Guidelines
- The logo(s) must be used as provided by Galveston.com & Company and the colors, color depth or design of the logo are not to be changed.
- The use of the logo(s) is restricted to promote Galveston Island tourism and Galveston.com only.
- The logo(s) is not to be used for any other purpose without the specific written approval of Galveston.com & Company.
- Unless otherwise agreed, the appearance of the logo(s) for the approved purpose must not be used in any manner whatsoever to infer that Galveston.com & Company has any administrative, financial or marketing obligations in relation to the said item or organization.
