The object and purpose of the Galveston Hotel & Lodging Association shall be to encourage and foster business ethics and practices and to assist in the solving of mutual problems relative to the hotel and motel industry in the Galveston area. Also to serve as a clearinghouse for the dissemination of information to it's members in the conduct of the business; and to cooperate with other civic organizations participating in such matters of civic or community interest as may be deemed by the membership.
