Dellanera RV Park, located on FM 3005 at 7 Mile Road, offers visitors a beachfront home-away-from-home on the Gulf of Mexico.
The park provides 1,000 feet of sandy beach with 63 full RV hook-ups, 21 partial hook-ups and day parking. Beach and RV amenities include umbrella/chair rentals, beach-side restrooms, children's playground, and picnic sites. The pavilion offers showers, laundry facilities, a gift shop, and a recreation room.
The Galveston Park Board of Trustees, which operate Dellanera RV Park, recently completed the relocation and rebuilding of twelve (12) new RV campsites at the park. The new sites were constructed on the east side of the pavilion, which was formerly a parking lot for day use parking. The new sites offer wider RV spaces to accommodate the newer, expandable RV trailers and motor homes. The sites are Pull-Thurs and offer full service utilities, water, sewer and 50 Amp electrical service. Each site features its own picnic table and landscaping.
Dellanera also offers wireless internet for guests.
Several RV groups, including Fore Travel Motorcade, the Southwinders, the South Central Bus Nuts, the American Eagles, and On the Road Again include Dellanera RV Park on their regular travel routes.

| Rating | Rated by | Date | Review | | Bobby | 7/4/2008 12:01:00 PM | I first went to this park about 8 years ago and stayed for 2 weeks. It was wonderful, but since then, the park has slowly deteriorated. I only ever stayed in the deluxe spots, but even those have slowly become infested with fire ants and grass burs. The park definately needs a rework and with the increase in prices ($25 in 2000 compared to $42 in 2008), the city needs to invest a little more time and money. It is a shame because this park is in the perfect location. | | Tran | 6/30/2008 2:22:00 AM | The WORST: Space between your RV &your neighbors. Talk about sardines in a can! I can reach out&touch the other RV if I was sitting at my picnic table. The tables are located next to your neighbors DUMP connection! Talk about disgusting! The playground was a joke -old,rustic,& BROKEN! There was one platform that was broken off (screws had popped out!)&they did not even taped that area off. The only good is the walkway to the beach. Note, you will NOT ever see the ocean from the site. The dunes hid the view. Oh and read website for the fee& NOT the reserv total. | | ed | 6/26/2008 7:03:00 PM | my wife and i had a very nice time at this park .we were glad we upgraded to the best sites as we had plenty of room to spreadout. we have stayed at better campgrounds around the u.s. but for beach access this park is very convenient. we will be back...thanks
| | Vicki | 6/25/2008 1:43:00 PM | We have stayed at the park several times. We brought our grandson with us the last time and he loved it. Always clean and quiet. Close to the beach and other attractions.
Great for families. | | olga | 6/24/2008 8:30:00 AM | I love the fact that it is quiet and not rowdy, a great place to take your entire family. Beach access is walking distance. It also has clean showers and restrooms and they are air conditioned. Over all, the entire place is well kept. If anybody knows of a better place please let us know but untile them we will continue to go to Dellanera | | KEN | 6/23/2008 2:49:00 PM | GOOD PARK, LIKE BEACH ACCESS, NEED SOME REPAIR TO SITES AND ROADS. | | Very Disappointed! | 6/16/2008 1:42:00 PM | I would never stay there again! I was quoted and emailed one price but upon arrival I was charged a higher price. They also made an unauthorized charge on my credit card. Nothing but a bunch of kids running this place! | | CRIS HERNANDEZ | 6/11/2008 2:38:00 PM | we go every summer for the last 3yrs, and we have a great time, agree that cable should be offered but not bad for the price. would highly recommend to anyone who has children.much better than any hotel in town. | | John Chapman | 6/3/2008 5:20:00 PM | I agree with Mary. I remember not too long ago when the prices were much lower. I understand if you raise the prices with improvements, but not too many have been made.
John C. | | Renee | 5/30/2008 8:54:00 PM | This was our first visit and we were very pleased. I would only stay on the new pull-thru side if you have slide outs. Playground needs an overhaul. Boardwalk to the beach is excellent. We would definitely recommend this RV park to anyone going to Galveston. | | Brenda | 5/27/2008 11:50:00 AM | We absolutely love Dellanera!! It's always clean, the staff are very polite and you can't beat the price. We recommend Dellanera to all of our friends. It's been a choice spot for our 4 boys every summer for the past 4 years. We've even spent a couple of Spring Breaks here. We're looking forward to a great time again this year! | | Susie | 5/12/2008 6:45:00 AM | We had a great stay at this park. Beautiful beach, close to Galveston, quiet and clean. Highly recommend. | | Lisa | 4/14/2008 5:47:00 PM | We always stay here when visiting Galveston. In my opinion, there is NO better RV park in the area. The only thing that would make it better is if they offered cable TV. We love it and always make it our home away from home when in the Galveston area! | | mary heins | 4/3/2008 5:44:00 PM | prices are too much for seniors and disable just too get away from home and enjoy fresh air. the sate parks are only $20 and it hasnt been long since i paid $20 at your park, when a person owned it not a greedy city. |
