The Inn at 1816 Postoffice is located in the heart of Galveston's East End Historic District. This gorgeous Victorian Bed & Breakfast dates back to 1886 as a residence and then as a boarding house. The present owners, dedicated to historic preservation, purchased the house with the intention of turning it into a Bed and Breakfast Inn. The Inn now stands as an elegant showcase filled with indigenous antiques and finely crafted furniture that subtly suggest the time-honored traditions of England's Victorian charm and the American South's genteel grace.

The food is lovely and the little extra's that you ladies do is so wonderful. Thank you so much for all your hospitality. You are trule the best in Galveston. | | Erin | 4/17/2008 10:36:00 AM | My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and have stayed here for our anniversary since then.
